How Do I Get Started?
The first step to building a home is determining who you want to work with and what type of home you want. We specialize in the construction of high-end luxury homes and will be happy to consult with you regarding initial steps that should be taken to get your project started. We suggest that you tour one or more of our model homes to experience the quality and craftsmanship we will put into your custom home.
How Long Should I Expect the Building Process to Take?
There are many different factors that affect construction time, including revisions, securing permits and environmental factors.
What Type of Financing Do I Need?
Prior to entering into a building agreement with us, you should first sit down with a lender and discuss your financial qualifications. Prequalifying for a custom construction loan is a great way to determine your budgetary requirements. There are several different types of construction loans available, and Scott Donogh Homes can help you understand the differences between them so that you can make an educated decision regarding loan selection. We are prequalified for construction loans as a preferred builder with Wased, Homestreet Bank and other local trusted financial institutions.
Can I Use My Own Floor Plan?
We are willing to create a unique floor plan that is suited to your specific preferences and needs. However, most of our clients prefer to choose from our existing portfolio of luxury home designs. We can make modifications to any of the home designs in our current portfolio in order to meet your preferences.
How Much Will My Custom Home Cost?
There are a variety of factors that determine the final cost of a custom home built by Scott Donogh Homes, including the size and design of your chosen plans. Most of our clients want a custom home built for around $150 square/foot to $200 square/foot. Once a house plan has been chosen, we will give you the most accurate cost estimate possible so that you can plan your budget accordingly.
What Is Included in My Cost Estimate?
The cost estimate we give you includes everything from project initiation to full completion.
Do You Have Available Lots?
Yes, we do. We are constantly purchasing land and would be happy to show you our available building sites.
Can You Build a Home on a Lot I Already Own?
Yes, we can. If you already own a lot and would like us to build a beautiful custom home for you, simply give us a call and we will get started designing and building your custom home.
Are You Interested in Purchasing a Lot I Have for Sale?
Absolutely! We are always looking to invest in great properties. Contact us if you have a lot in mind that you would like to sub-divide or sell.
